We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, and pet information (name, breed, weight, vaccination records, and photos). We also collect trip details, expense records, and usage data to improve the service.
The Explore feature requests your device's location to find nearby pet-friendly places. Location data is used only in real time for this search and is not stored on our servers.
The Bark-o-Meter and Sentry Mode features use your device's microphone and/or camera. Audio and video streams are processed locally on your device and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers.
We use your information to provide and improve NavPaws, process payments, send important account notifications, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access or disclosure.
NavPaws uses the following third-party services: Stripe (payment processing), Google Places API (location search), and Base44 (infrastructure). Each of these services has their own privacy policies governing their use of data.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You may also request a copy of the data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us through the Help Center in the app.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed from our systems within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.
NavPaws is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of NavPaws after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
