Welcome to NavPaws! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the NavPaws mobile application and website (the "Service"), operated by 2Brunettes ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Subscription & Billing
NavPaws is a subscription-based service. By subscribing, you agree to the following:
- 3-Day All-Access Trial: New users may be eligible for a 3-day trial. You must cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid being charged for the first monthly billing cycle.
- Recurring Billing: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly basis and will automatically renew unless cancelled.
- Strict No-Refund Policy: All payments are final. We do not offer refunds, credits, or prorated billing for any reason, including partial months of service or unused accounts. The 3-day trial serves as your opportunity to evaluate the Service before a charge occurs.
2. Data Usage & Feature Limits
To ensure high-quality service for all members, NavPaws enforces usage limits on certain features:
- Streaming Limits: High-bandwidth features, such as the "Companion Link" (remote video/audio monitoring), are subject to monthly data caps based on your subscription tier.
- Fair Use Policy: NavPaws is intended for periodic check-ins during travel. Continuous 24/7 streaming or use as a permanent home/business security system is prohibited and may result in service suspension or additional fees.
3. Use of Third-Party Services (Google Maps)
- NavPaws utilizes the Google Maps Platform for navigation, trip planning, and location services.
- By using NavPaws, you are also bound by the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service.
- Disclaimer: We are not responsible for the accuracy of map data, road conditions, or the "pet-friendly" status of locations provided by third-party APIs. Users should use their own judgment when traveling.
4. Emergency Tools & Safety Disclaimer
The "Lost Dog Flyer" and local shelter identification tools are provided for informational assistance only.
- No Guarantee: NavPaws does not guarantee the response of local authorities or the accuracy of shelter contact information in all regions.
- Owner Responsibility: You remain solely responsible for the safety and containment of your pet. NavPaws is not liable for any loss, injury, or damages resulting from a pet becoming lost or the use of our emergency tools.
5. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in any activity that harms the Service or other users.
6. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
